2018 to 2019

I hope you had a Merry Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year.

2018 is almost ending. Similar to last year, 2018 was a life-changing year. I won’t explain everything in detail, but here are some highlights:

  • As you may already know, Alison and I had our baby girl, Alethia, on November 15th. We praise the Lord this precious gift. Parenthood so far has been challenging, but we are adapting to this new lifestyle. (For prospective parents, especially fathers, changing diapers is the least of your concern.)
  • I officially finished my M.Div program during summer and I convocated in September. You can read my previous blog post for my experience.

Therefore, I am looking forward to what 2019 may bring to me:

  • Seeing Alethia grow up! Yesterday, I felt a bit emotional knowing that I will be going back to work soon. I won’t get to see her much while I’m at work, so that does make me sad because I love her very much.
  • I started the Reading Challenge given by Tim Challies. You can check out his post on this LINK. In the year 2019, I hope to read at least 13 books (I actually just finished one before 2019 began). If you’re curious about my reading list, DM me.
  • I am beginning a new position right after New Years Day. I look forward to another year of fruitful (full-time) ministry.
  • Lord willing, I hope to blog more often because I want to cultivate my writing skills. I hope that you would find my blog entries helpful and spiritually edifying (and challenging). Consider following my blog if you have found it helpful.
